About The World Song Contest
|
The World Song Contest is a global songwriting competition open to all international communities. Whether you are an established songwriter or an upcoming songwriter ambitious to take your career to the next level, the World Song Contest offers you a unique opportunity.
The songwriting contest will make the "monthly" winners' and finalists' songs available to music industry insiders whom the World Song Contest has built relationships with. The distribution of your material will put your songs in the ears of music professionals who have contributed to the success of many top charting artists. |
Judging Process
Once you enter the contest, your material will be reviewed by the songwriting judging committee consisting of key persons from the music industry. Members of the songwriting judging committee have worked in all aspects of the music industry including songwriting, publishing, producing, song plugging, artist management, promotions, A&R, radio and television. Each month they will collectively determine the winning and finalist songwriters in the songwriting competition.
The "monthly" winners (from each of the 11 songwriting contest genres) will compete at the end of the year to become the "yearly" winner in their specific genre. Next, those 11 yearly winners from each genre will compete for the Grand Prize and be collectively awarded $46,000 cash and music related prizes. |
